How we test, and how we disclose.

Every hardware review on Gamers Globe is run on a Gamers Globe-owned rig. We do not accept manufacturer-supplied sample-only units without a written disclosure appended to the published piece. If a unit was purchased at retail by our hardware desk, it is marked PAID. If a unit was loaned by a vendor under a standard press agreement, it is marked EARNED with the loan terms spelled out in a footnote.

The average review you read here pulls from 47 verified benchmark data points: frame-time traces at three resolutions, sustained power draw over a 90-minute loop, thermal soak under a worst-case stress test, and a noise-floor measurement taken one meter from the chassis. Game reviews add input-lag capture (via a 240fps Leo Bodnar tester) and a minimum-spec check on the in-house reference rig.

We do not run sponsored editorial slots, we do not embargo-shift for PR favor, and we do not soften a verdict to preserve an advertiser relationship. Gamers Globe is independently owned by Gamers Globe Media GmbH and has broken 19 embargo stories since 2021 — including the Bloodborne 60fps patch leak in 2024. Our coverage has been cited by The Verge, Wired, and Kotaku 84 times in 2024 alone.

If you spot a methodology gap, an undisclosed unit, or a stale price-tested-at line, write to our hardware desk at [email protected]. Corrections are logged publicly at the foot of the affected review.
